Finished working with Jahm (from the band Zamina) writing a fun and groovy track! We went into the studio with no idea what would come out. The result was "Saturday Still Awake" in an Electro Ska type of genere. Mixed and Mastered by DevelopingRhythm & 'Werner Niedermeier'

Teamed up with Andy from the Beathogs to record live drums on MIDI (My first time with MIDI drums!) and some of the Nairobi Latino Posse to make a London Breakbeat style tune with some Spanish vocal and local Rapping Talent!

Bio

He established his musical passion writing classical Music and Jazz, later developing his taste in Hip Hop, Funk & Soul and eventually he started DJ'ing at a young age. Very soon he came in contact with Electronic music scene in London and spinned at several Clubs all over the world.

London was the first of many cities where Johnny `Hash` Knight was booked and played many venues. Some of the Venues include 'House Fire' where this was his first residency in London, which had many influential guests such as 'Mark Moore'. He spinned at the 'The Cross' located at Kings-Cross with 'Sugar Candy'.

He played for the record distribution house Intergroove in London and Madrid. Later he went on to DJ for an enormous crowd at 'Utopia' in Las Vegas where many legendary Dj's have played.

He eventually moved to Palma de Mallorca where he met Dushan (aka Dushi Sushi) They brought their styles together and created the project 'Bubbles `n Breaks'. They quickly found out, that they were influenced by similar music styles. Dushan and Johnny started working in the studio together. The guys sent their first production called 'Rock It Like This' to different labels in England and Germany and got a deal straight away with Livelarge Recordings in Germany. Recently they are working with artists like 'Pig & Dan' (Cocoon), 'Van Basten' (Brute Records) and 'Soul Camp' to increase their production skills and having more output such on labels like: 'Virus Records', 'Livelarge Recordings' etc. by also using pseudonyms.

'Muffcakes' was the name of an album created by live group 'Intenso' that was created by Johnny `Hash` Knight and Dan Duncan (aka 'Pig & Dan'). They made live electronic performances at Venues in and around the Balearic Islands for many thousands of people.

Eventually Johnny became a resident DJ at 'Tito's' ('IN' Resident), 'Garito Cafe', 'Red Bar', and often played at 'Pacha' and other famous Venues, and of course the famous Full Moon Parties in Deia

Johnny also collaborated with 'Soul Camp' and 'Flying Records' Studios with 'Werner Niedermeier' and 'Lofty' on various productions and helping to engineer studio setups.

More recently he played as a resident in Venezuela with 'DJ Irak' (Caracas & South America Music Conference) at the 'South America Kite Surf and Windsurf Championships' with over 5000 people dancing in the sea!!

Johnny travels around the world DJ'ing and producing different styles of music from chill-out to tech house.
